In recent months, the low-cost carrier, Allegiant Airlines has been ramping up its presence in across the U.S, this includes Niagara Falls International Airport. Beginning mid-November, the carrier will be offering non-stop flights from Niagara Falls to Fort Lauderdale. Adding the Niagara Falls location means Allegiant will operate 18 year-round and seasonal non-stop routes at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
This is the second attempt for the Niagara Falls-Fort Lauderdale route, the first was in 2012. The airline is more confident with this new offering, considering the boom of tourism in Niagara Falls, NY being stronger than ever. That means more demand for ultra-low cost flights that offer a quality flying experience.
